Heaven
A balcony, this heaven, in the midst
                  of Death,
a rosebush, this insignificant pot
                  of hope
half in water, just a stem skywards, and,
                  thorns.
The thorny task of protocol to identify
                  a life
in the maze of numbers, in meaningless words
                  of the system.
System which knows the importance
                  of protocol.
System which knows to count
                  man's value
in hungry dollars, or, even hungrier cents
                  of littleness.
The thorny task of the protocol to evaluate
                  man's dream.
